Rain rain go away… come back some other day!

Posted by Ron Ripple in Entertaining, Kurt Busch, Kyle Busch, Nascar, Nascar Crashes, Tony Stewart

There was only 17 laps remaining in the Lenox Industrial Tools 301 race with Kurt Busch in the lead when race officials made a quick decision to call it a day and put the toys away due to weather.  Kurt Busch had luck on his side yesterday allowing him to end his 29 race winless streak.  At the end of the race during a caution, Kurt Busch’s team decided to keep him out on the race course which allowed him to crawl up into first place and ended up earning him the win.

Tony Stewart who also has a ridiculous winless streak (31 races) was dominating the race by leading 132 of the 284 laps.  Tony’s crew made the decision to pit on the caution which ended up putting him in 13th position when the race was finally called.  Tony Stewart was extremely pissed after Sunday’s race and didn’t comment on his results.

I can guaranttee he was throwing some F-bombs on the radio after the race officials stopped the race.  It’s got to be tough knowing this was your race to dominate and you make a poor decision to pit hoping the rain would stay away.  I can only imagine what song his crew was chanting as he pulled back out with the rain on it’s way…. “rain rain go away, come back some other day…. rain rain go away, come back some other day.”

The rain CAMEEE… son of a B!%@*

So Kurt Busch ended up with the win… what did Kyle Busch end up with?  A SPIN!!!! Juan Pablo Montoya made his point this weekend that he was out here to race and he’s not going to let anyone push him around, even if it is the points leader.

There are two sides to every story!

Kyle Busch’s side!

Kyle Busch explained in his post race interview he was racing Juan and beat him to the caution flag after the Clint Boyer/Sam Hornish Jr wreck when out of the blue he began spinning.  Busch claims he rubbed Montoya a couple times in the previous lap trying to race him to the caution but claims he only touched his corner panel.  He says Montoya must have thought he beat him to the caution and got frustrated and spun him out.

Juan Pablo Montoya’s side!

Juan Pablo Montoya says he was racing Kyle Busch who was not giving him the respect he deserved.  He says Kyle Busch came up on the high side where he was racing and pretended like he wasn’t there expecting him to back down.  Juan said it looked like Kyle was trying to wreck him because he was banging on Juan’s corner panel… Juan says OK! Here we go!  Next thing you know they were both spinning which resulted in the end of their day!  Juan does admit he spun him out intentionally!

My side!

I think both drivers were having a very boring day racing in the back of the pack.  They were bored with the way the race was going and decided to make the race more interesting for us (the fans) by playing bumper cars.  Kyle Busch was thinking… “I’m not used to racing back here in the back of the pack, is this what these losers feel like at every race?”  Juan Pablo Montoya was thinking… “Wow, I’m not used to racing next to “THE MAN” Kyle Busch, I better not let him push me around back here.”

Next thing you know, one thing led to another, they let their thoughts take over and Kyle Busch decided he better get some more face time on the camera.  Kyle Busch starts bumping Juan Pablo Montoya because he was the closest one… Montoya kept thinking I can’t let this mean driver bully me around.  Juan throws him into a spin which ends up taking himself out as well.

Not the smartest racing I’ve ever seen but you can’t blame either of them.  Not every driver is perfect and who knows what they’re thinking when they’re in a situation they’re not used to.  haha.  I love racing!

What do you guys think?  Who’s side do you take on this situation?  Kyle’s, Juan’s, or mine?

Kyle Busch is Not Gay

Posted by Ron Ripple in Entertaining, Hot Wives Club, Kyle Busch, Nascar Racing

I’ve received countless emails from readers and fans asking the question of whether or not Kyle Busch is a homosexual or not. I’m here to put these nasty little rumors to rest! I will agree that he does have a feminine sway and demeanor to him, but I’ve seen him countless times in the pits and even the winner’s circle, with a little hottie most men would kill for. So Kyle Busch bends over for his victory dance and when he’s on the track he enjoys ramming the other drivers from behind. We can only assume that “rubbin is racin”. I’ve even seen him prance around the pits and at times he looks like he’s holding back a natural lisp. This does not mean he’s gay and I have the pictures to prove it.

Exhibit 1. Kyle Busch and a young lady (alleged girlfriend) Samantha SarcinellaKyle Busch Girlfriend Samantha Sacarillo

So in the photo to the right, we see here Kyle Busch with this VERY busty little brunette who seems to be enjoying herself. Kyle’s got that shit eating grin on his face, what is he thinking about? We can only assume he’s excited to be taking photos with a little hot rod on his left. I question what’s going on with his right hand… Has he just painted his fingernails and he’s air drying his cuticles? I don’t know exactly, but we can all assume he’s giving  a manly waive to the cameras with woman on the brain. I’ve always had incredible gaydar and it’s telling me that Kyle Busch although at times acts like a 12 year old pansy boy… He’s not Gay!

Enough about Kyle let’s hear a little more about Samantha Sarcinella, the 22 year old fitness model who recently graduated from Purdue University. Samantha and Kyle Busch met last summer in Indianapolis where they started their long distance relationship over the  phone. Samantha has a great head on her shoulders and this is a must to be dating the crowd booer Kyle Busch. The more I learn about her and stare at her hot photos, the more I think the next time I see her in the pits I’m going to have to steal her away!

I’d like to hear what your thoughts are on Kyle Busch and his sexuality. Do you have any moments you remember that truly made you question him? I feel as if I’ve proven my case that even though a man has gay tendencies doesn’t necessarily make him gay. Below are a few more photos of the beautiful Samantha Sarcinella.

NASCAR Hot Wives Club : Ashley Judd (Franchitti)

Posted by Ron Ripple in Entertaining, Hot Wives Club

It’s been a while since I showcased a hot wife in NASCAR, and who better than Dario Franchitti’s wife Ashley Judd. We all know NASCAR driver’s have the some of the hottest wives in sports, and why not? They make millions a year and are in the spot light just about every day during season. Ashley Judd is absolutely stunning! She has been named People Magazine’s “50 Most Beautiful People in the World” back in 1996, 2000 and 2002.

The two were married back on December 12th, 2001 at Skibo Castle in Scotland. For those of you who are unaware, Dario Franchitti is a Scottish racer who came to NASCAR from IRL. This is the first time you’ve heard his name on my website probably because he hasn’t performed very well at all. He’s also had an ankle injury that put him out a few races. His average finish has been around 32nd and he’s had zero top 10’s. I regularly visit both NASCAR and IRL forums and blogs and always try my best explaining that NASCAR by far has the best race car drivers in the world. Anytime you have an IRL guy come to NASCAR, you can guarantee they will be a mid pack kind of racer. Until proven otherwise, that’s how I feel. (sorry Craig I know you’re a fan of Montoya).

But what I love most about Ashley Judd (besides her beauty) is her passion about racing. Take a look at the statements made to the media by her back when Dario was racing IRL. She was commenting on one of the female racers…

“I know this is not very sportsmanlike, but they’ve got to get the 23 car (Duno) off the track. It’s very dangerous. I’m tired of holding my tongue. She shouldn’t be out there. When a car is 10 miles (an hour) off the pace, it’s not appropriate to be racing. People’s lives are at stake” - source taken from Austin Statesman wire.

Blah blah blah, let’s check out some of her hot pictures…

Kyle Busch Made a Bonehead Decision!

Posted by Ron Ripple in Entertaining, Kyle Busch, Nascar Racing

Kyle Busch made headlines this weekend for being the first to race all three NASCAR sanctioned races. He started in Pocono Friday afternoon where he qualfied top ten and then flew to the Sam’s Town 400 Craftsman Truck race in Texas… he ended up with a strong second place finish. After that he flew back to Pocono the same night so he would be able to test Saturday morning for Sunday’s Sprint Cup race. He ended up crashing his cars during Saturday’s practice so he flew to Nashville for his Nationwide Series race at the Nashville Superspeedway. He had a disappointing 20th Place finish there but still had to fly back to Pocono to get ready for Sunday’s Sprint Cup race.

Kyle Busch knew before the Pocono Race started it was going to be a long race. Since he didn’t qualify for the race on Saturday, he was required to start in the back of the field. It looked like he picked a few cars off early in the race and then on lap 46 coming out of turn 3, he drifted up towards the wall and got into Jamie McMurray. This was basically the end of Mr. Busch’s day considering it took 2 hours for his crew to put the car back together. He came back out on lap 131 and finished the race but he still ended up in last place for the day.

Photobucket
It’s kinda funny, Kyle Busch tried to race three different races in three different states and thinks he can be competitive at all three tracks. I think Kyle needs to concentrate on one Series and do his best to dominate the series. I know he’s dominating everything he touches, but it’s kind of unrealistic to think he can go out there and win all three races. If you ask me, I think Kyle Busch was exhausted and not up for racing on Sunday. The kid flew back and fourth all three days and probably didn’t get much sleep. Flying from Texas to Pocono alone would make me exhausted… especially if I’m sitting first class and drinking up all the beer. Kyle places most of the blame on his spotter saying he didn’t say a word about where Jamie McMurray was. Kyle claims coming off turn 3 Jamie got a little squirly so he assumed Jamie slowed up a bit allowing him to move up against the wall. Little did he know Jamie didn’t even skip a beat and was right where he was supposed to be. I don’t know if Kyle was falling a sleep or if he was just ASSUMING. And we all know what happens when you ASSUME… you make and AS* out of U and Me.
Overall I give Kyle Busch credit for trying to be a superstar but I wouldn’t reccomend he does it again. He needs to concentrate on earning his first Sprint Cup Championship and winning every race. I think Kyle Busch is an incredible racer and can win the championship this year… but if he continues to make bonehead decisions like this, he’s going to blow his chances. What are your thoughts? Should Kyle Busch concentrate on one series?

8 Ways to Make NASCAR More Exciting!

Posted by Ron Ripple in Entertaining, Hot Wives Club, ME!, Nascar

I’ve come up with a list of ideas on how we can make NASCAR more exciting. I love NASCAR and everything about NASCAR, but if I were the president of NASCAR, I would implement these 8 ideas.

#1. Bring back the COY - Car Of Yesterday. We need to get rid of the COT and bring back the COY. It allowed these drivers to actually race and battle it out. The COT is a tough car to drive and has leveled the playing field in a way that has made it harder to pass.

#2. Shorten the Course - If NASCAR shortened the course, it would make the races more exciting. Right now the races are extremely long… how many of you guys love to watch “the start” and then the last “50 laps?” I mean, I love NASCAR, but sometimes the middle of the race is pointless because the true racing doesn’t start till the end.

#3. Start Kyle Busch a lap down - Kyle Busch is absolutely the best driver out there today. I think we need to start his ass a lap down and make him work his way to the front. The only negative thing about this idea is what if he actually came back and won the race? His head wouldn’t be able to fit into his own car.

Photobucket

#4. Kyle Busch needs a bigger car - Just as I mentioned in idea #3… Kyle Busch’s head is getting way too big. I think we need to get him a bigger car so we can fit his big head in it. Maybe we can just get him a convertible so we don’t have to keep getting him new cars as the season goes on.

#5. The Driver’s need Intro songs - After watching the All-Star race this year I really enjoyed the introductions they did for each driver. If we had introduction songs for each driver, it would bring more excitement and craziness. I could see Kyle Busch walking to his car as they play “I Shot the Sherriff,” just after he spun Jr. out!

#6. Bikini Contest between the driver’s wives and girlfriends - One thing NASCAR lacks is sex appeal. If we had the Driver’s wives out there in bikinis at let’s say Taladega or the Coca-cola 600 strutting their stuff, I can guaranttee I may not be rooting for Tony Stewart. I may start liking Jeff Gordon. (Did I just say that?)

#7 Lap girls for each lap - Just like boxing and UFC fighting… for each round/Lap, we need to have a Lap girl letting everyone know what lap we’re on. Just as I mentioned in Idea #6, we need to bring some sex appeal to NASCAR and this is a sure way to bring it.

#8. Cage Match between Hendrick Racing and Joe Gibbs Racing - Three times a year they need to have a cage match between each of the Hendrick boys vs the Gibbs boys. Stewart vs Gordon, Busch vs. Earnhardt Jr., Hamlin vs Johnson. And it needs to be a real fight. No hard feelings… instead of “talking” smack, they need to throw some smack. Quit singing it and start bringing it…

This is just my opinion and if NASCAR wants to hire me please contact me through e-mail. I think I could bring a lot of FLARE to the sport. The only requirement I have is they give me my own Budweiser Keg at each race, and hopefully they don’t require a breathalizer for the president.

Would you elect me as the President of NASCAR?

IndyCar driver’s want in!

Posted by Ron Ripple in Entertaining, Nascar

I’m starting to think IndyCar racing is officially the next “stepping stone” to NASCAR.  The latest rumors on the streets are Danica Patrick and now Helio Castroneves are thinking about making the move to NASCAR.  It’s Obvious that NASCAR is the most popular, most televised, and most watched car racing series of all times, and it looks like the big names of IndyCar are starting to realize this.

If you haven’t noticed, a number of IndyCar racers have already made the move to NASCAR…  Sam Hornish Jr. and Dario Franchitti are two IndyCar champions who have joined the NASCAR world, and it seems as though they aren’t going anywhere.

My Girl Danica

Wow… Danica Patrick
Danica Patrick, one of IndyCar’s most famous drivers, just attended the Sprint Cup race in Phoenix this year and there were rumors going around she was thinking about making the move.  It seems as though her contract isn’t going to be coming up until 2009, which means there is a good possibility she could be the next “FACE” of NASCAR.  In my opinion I would welcome her with open arms…  NASCAR is going to be a forever growing sport, and as long as there are a number of different personalities and characters for fans to grab hold of, the sport will continue to grow.
Helio Castroneves

Helio Castroneves
Helio Castroneves is another IndyCar star that may also make the move over to NASCAR.  If you think about it… it wouldn’t be a hard move for him since he already races for Team Penske which is owned by Roger Penske who already has a three car NASCAR team.   Helio Castroneves is another personality that would come into the NASCAR world and bring more attention to the sport.  If it were up to me, I would welcome all these drivers in with open arms.  I can’t say I would be a big fan of Helio, but I think it’s only going to continue to build our sport and make it a domination.

NASCAR is a sport that will be around forever and is only going to continue to grow.  Big names like Helio Castroneves and Danica Patrick will only help the sport and continue to make it “THE” auto racing sport of the world.  I personally won’t be a supportive fan of these two if they decide to start racing NASCAR but I do think it will bring in different crowds.  Danica will bring in the females and Helio will bring in the South American support which will make it a more world wide sport.

The good thing is… if these two decide to start racing NASCAR, I am guaranteed not to see any of them out at the bars.  Danica would probably be at a fancy club drinking Martinis or Cosmopolitans, and Helio would probably be at a Ballroom dancing with Jeff Gordon.

What are your thoughts?  Are you for or against IndyCar racers trying to join the group?

Kasey Kahne? WOW!

Posted by Ron Ripple in Dale Earnhardt Jr, Entertaining, Kyle Busch, Nascar Racing, Nascar Winner

NASCAR's Kasey Khane
This past Saturday’s race was an interesting race to say the least.  In my previous post I stated it was going to be one hell-uv-a showdown with some aggressive driving and some crazy personalities.  Unfortunately it was none of this… It was a fun race to watch because it was unknown as to who was going to be the victor, but it definitely wasn’t a showdown like I was expecting. From the very beginning, Kyle Busch shot out and dominated the race by almost a quarter of a lap, until the second segment when his motor blew up.  (Obviously the Gibbs team tested the Toyota package they had from the beginning of the year because almost everyone on the team blew a motor.)  But Kyle Busch did some serious domination with Carl Edwards not far behind him.  The first two segments weren’t all that exciting with most of the battling taking place in the 12th and 13th positions.  Once Kyle Busch’s motor blew up at the end of the second segment, it looked like it was going to be a Carl Edwards race since he had the fastest car on the track.

I was comletely taken back when the third segment started and Carl Edwards lost four positions in the first couple laps.  It looked as if making no changes to his car in between segments was not such a good idea.  The third segment was dominated by Biffle, with a number of different drivers working their way up to the front.  Ryan Newman, Matt Kenseth, and Dale Earnahrdt Jr. were a number of racers that were working their asses off to get to the front.  All were running strong but it seemed as though none of them had enough because in each segment there was only ONE car that led most of the laps.

The Fourth Segment was where all the hard work and strategy paid off.  In between the third and fourth segment, the teams had a decision to make.  “Take two tires, take four tires, or don’t take any tires at all.”  There were a few drivers that took “No tires’ and these driver’s ended up on top.  Jimmie Johnson and Kasey Kahne were two of those drivers that decided to take no tires and these guys came out of the pits the fastest.  Greg Biffle, who was the fastest car for a majority of the race decided to take two tires and I can guarantee he’s regretting it now.  Kasey Kahne who was the “Fan Vote” jumped up to the front position and was tough to get around.  Greg Biffle who took the two tires was on his tail the whole segment and admitted he only had once chance to pass and couldn’t take advantage of it.

I think it’s huge a driver who wasn’t even supposed to be in the race took home $1,000,000.  The fans wanted to see him race and boy did he give them a show.  He passed a ton of cars to make it to the top 10 and when it came down to making a decision about tires, he made the right one and that’s all that counts.  He didn’t crawl his way up to the front and techinically “EARN” the #1 position, but his team made the right decision and they took advantage of it.  Kasey Kahne won the race and took home the money.  Congratulations to him!

Even though I’m a huge Tony Stewart fan, I was really hoping for a Dale Earnhardt Jr win.  He was in the top 5 throughout the whole race and looked like he was going to be a player at the end.   I guess the Hendrick Motorsports team just had nothing for them at this race.  I was extremely disappointed with Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson… two racers that were supposed to OWN this track.  The only reason why Jimmie Johnson was in the top 5 was because he took no tires.

Overall I have to admit it wasn’t the most aggressive driving or exciting race I’ve ever seen.  There were no wrecks, no bumping, no fighting, and no drama.  This was supposed to be a race where the driver’s would let their hair down and do things out of character.  It was almost as if they were all being gentlemen!  I was shocked!

What do you think about the race?  Obviously nobody won the contest from my previous post because Kasey Kahne was voted in last minute.  But look for a new contest maybe for the 600.  I like to see who people vote for.

Make your ALL STAR pick… Win a T-Shirt!

Posted by Ron Ripple in Contest, Entertaining, Kyle Busch, Picks, Tony Stewart

This Saturday is the 24th running of the All Star race at the Lowe’s Motor Speedway, and all I can say is… “Damn I’m excited.” To me, this is a race where champions get together and show each other what they’ve got. I think we’re going to see the typical domination by Carl Edwards, Kyle Busch and of course we’ll probably see Dale Earnhardt up there in the hunt… but it’s a chance for everyone to battle it out and earn a HUGE income for the year.

The All Star race is an interesting race to say the least… anyone has a chance to win it because every 25 laps they allow the drivers to pit and make changes to the car such as fuel, tires, and standard chassis adjustments. Once they’ve made the adjustments they restart the cars in the order in which they finished the previous segment. They do this a total of three times and then the last 25 laps is “Do or Die.” Only one car can win, and that winner will receive a purse of over $1,000,000. Now you tell me, this isn’t going to be a crazy race.

In my opinion… I believe we’re going to see some different sides to a lot of these drivers. We can all agree that Tony Stewart is going to be doing his standard “bumping his way up through the pack” as well as Kyle Busch’s “driving like Dale Earnhardt Sr.” But if I were to be a betting man, I would have to once again pick Carl Edwards to be up there in the front… and then my second pick would have to go to Denny Hamlin.  Carl Edwards has been the guy to beat this year along with Kyle Busch, he’s got the drive to win and of course the kid has been practicing his back flips, so I’ve got to give him that.  Denny Hamlin on the other hand has kind of been like Burton… the silent but deadly driver who stays out of the controversy and doesn’t make a big scene.  Those are the guys you need to be afraid of… ALWAYS in the hunt.

Let’s make this Post a “Who’s your pick?”

The winner will get a “Ron Ripple” T-shirt…

You only get one pick, so make sure you do your homework.

Below is a list of the Driver’s eligible for this race:

Daytona Penalties!

Posted by Ron Ripple in Dale Earnhardt Jr, Daytona 500, Entertaining

WOWWWWWWWW…. so there were some serious teams from this past weekend’s Daytona 500 that got penalized for some sort of infraction. The biggest penalty went to Robby Gordon after inspectors found an illegal bumper on the front of the car. NASCAR officials gave him a 100 point penalty, fined his crew cheif $100,000, and suspended his crew cheif for 6 races. Overall it dropped him from 9th place down to 40th place. Another team that got penalized last weekend in the Craftsman Truck Series was my boy Todd Bodine. He was penalized for an infraction the inspectors caught before qualifying. So the good news is he still won the race fair and square, but the bad news is he is penalized 25 points, his crew cheif fined $10,000 and his crew cheif is suspended for 4 races.

Here’s the news I know a lot of my readers are going to be extremely concerned about. Dale Earnhardt Jr was penalized 50 points for having an illegal spoiler on his car. His crew cheif was fined $25,000 and also given a 6 race suspension. The good news is it was for the Nationwide Series which still leaves him in the hunt for the Sprint Cup Series. Of all the drivers from this past weekend’s race… I would have never guessed we’d see Dale Earnhardt Jr’s name on the list of penalized drivers. It’s just unfortunate these teams aren’t following the rules and are trying to get away with little modifications. Can’t these teams just race fair and square and follow the rules?

The biggest news from this past weekend’s race is Officials found a hidden bottle of NOS in the trunk of Kurt Busch’s race car. Supposedly he hit the button on the last lap of the restart to give Ryan Newman his push to victory. The question that is confusing officials is how did he get that bottle through inspection the morning of the race. HAHAHAHA… I’m only kidding!!!!! Kurt Busch didn’t have a bottle of NOS in his car, but I know I had you going because the way he pushed Ryan Newman to the front of the pack on the last lap of that race is unbelievable.

Anyway, let me know what your opinion is on the infractions. Why would a team put an illegal part on their car the first race of the season?
