Rain Rain Go Away!
Posted on February 24th, 2008 by Ron Ripple under Dale Earnhardt Jr, Nascar Crashes, Nascar Racing, Yellow FlagsI don’t know about you… but I’m about sick of this mother nature crap. Rain delay upon Rain Delay and now I’m sitting here about to watch The Simpsons. I’m supposed to be watching the best sport on God’s Green Earth. NASCAR!
Thus far I’m very impressed with the way the race has gone. Lots have craziness has happened in these few laps. Casey Mears is out of the big showdown with a flipped car and it’s sad to see Dale Jr. out of the big picture but you can’t blame him for what happened on the track today. Jeff Gordan and his team mate Jimmy Johnson have been dominating, and Kyle Busch once again is running with an extrmely fast car.
I’m too depressed to write much, I’ll give y’all a full update of my feelings this evening or first thing in the morning. Nothing against The Simpsons, but I’m bout out of beer and to see the Nascar Race in California in another rain delay is a SERIOUS buzz kill!

C’mon Ron it’s the rainy season in some venues (ca being one)….I’ll send ya a halfer of bud if it will make ya feel any better!….I’ve got a friend who really doesn’t like Kyle…but I suppose if the car is fast enough ya don’t have to resort to spinouts to win now do ya? LOL….Need some team help though…that’s for sure….Yo Rain…Knock it off for a bit will ya? K..should be good now!

ugh!
Yeah, I’m not too happy either! It’s midnight my time and they just finally decided to finish the race tomorrow, I’ve been saying for hours(as I’m sure many have!) that they’re not going to get to finish and Nascar should just call it for the day.
I’m sure not going to like it when the alarm goes off in 5 hours now that I stayed up this late! LOL
Guess I’m lucky I don’t have to go out to work tomorrow and can watch both races though!

Who’s airing the race? Speed? Fox?

Only place I found airing it is NASCAR.com and you have to sign up for their pit pass software. I think you can hear it live on their radio as well.

I’m watching it on Fox right now….a little late sorry, it’s down to only 14 laps.
Nationwide race is to follow, but I don’t think it’s on Fox, I can’t remember where they said it was going to be, guess I’ll have to channel surf to see if I can find it.
