Daytona 500 Test Times!
Posted on January 30th, 2008 by Ron Ripple under Nascar, Test Times, TestingWith the Daytona 500 coming in less than 17 days, I wanted to post the test times from earlier this month. It looks like Dodge has the advantage over the manufacturers going into the race with 5 out of the top 10. But Toyota’s 2008 debut looks pretty strong with 3 of their drivers coming in the top 10. My boy Tony Stewart just squeezed into the top ten with the new Toyota but let’s wait and see how he does when he gets out on the track. I can already see him driving by Ryan Newman and Denny Hamlin and then pushing Franchitti and Kasey Kahne into the wall. Should be some interesting racing especially with all the changes NASCAR has implemented as well as the number of team and car changes.

You’ll have to be more specific about your type of data and why you think the time-series is not independent, but offhand I’d say you are fine using a 1-sample t-test.

Wow, I never thought about it that much. I think that would be a good idea though. For example, I\’m not saying Paul Menard sucks, but his dad is quite well off and that is one reason he came up the ranks so fast.

Yearly physicals are already required for the driver and the over the wall crew, plus the driver must pass another physical when returning after an injury.

The doctor most likely sent your urine off for culture testing. When they do culture testing, they grow and isolate bacteria from your urine to find out what strain is infecting your GU system.
